AboutJohanna Novom, violin, is Associate Concertmaster of Apollo's Fire in Cleveland, and performs with various ensembles throughout the country. She has been a principal player with NYS Baroque and the Dallas Bach Society, with whom she has also appeared as a soloist. This season includes performances with Chatham Baroque and a concerto collaboration with American Bach Soloists as a recent First Prize winner of the ABS Young Artists' Competition. Johanna received her Master's in Historical Performance from Oberlin Conservatory in 2007, where she studied on both historical and modern instruments with Marilyn McDonald. Recent festival appearances include the Carmel Bach Festival, Le Festival de Sedières, and Le Festival des Rencontres Musicales de Noyers.
